Join us for an inspiring program on immigration, refugees, rebuilding a life after persecution, and connecting with humanity.

This will be a 1 hour conversation featuring experts, personal stories, and some time for Q&A. Coping Cafe episode 5 is geared to adults interested in refugees, rebuilding lives after trauma, and creating safe space through advocacy and education.

Coping Cafe provides artistic tools to help people manage life changes. Coping Cafe is delighted to welcome our Speakers:

Cathryn Miller-Wilson, Esquire. Cathryn is Executive Director of HIAS Pennsylvania. She has taught Civil Justice Clinic and Legal Writing at Villanova Law School. Previously she was Deputy Managing Attorney at AIDS Law Project of PA, Custody and Support Master in Philadelphia’s Family Court, coordinator of Delivery of Legal Services Committee of Philadelphia Bar Association, and staff attorney at Community Legal Services, Inc.

Speaker Eugenie Mukeshimana is the Founder and Executive Director of Genocide Survivors Support Network (GSSN); an organization which helps survivors rebuild their lives and use their voices to prevent genocide through education and advocacy. Eugenie lectures on genocide and mass atrocities crimes, and their respective long-term impact on survivors. She serves on the United Nations Refugee Congress as a delegate representing the State of Maryland.
