We'll chat with local organizers and advocates on what the next class of City leadership must do to reorient local government to provide resources and care, not punishment, for all New Yorkers, especially low-income Black, Latinx, and immigrant New Yorkers of color.
About The People’s Plan: 2021 is a monumental local election year, with the mayoralty and two thirds of the City Council up for grabs. The People’s Plan NYC offers the priorities of hundreds of organizers and advocates through a comprehensive, multi-issue roadmap around housing, anti-criminalization, education, economy, climate, transit, and health. The intent of The People’s Plan is to set the agenda for the city and provide a clear people-centered mandate to the incoming elected officials running the City in 2022 and beyond: peoplesplan.nyc
