Intro to Ableton Live

Portland, Oregon
$11.90 - $22.46 (includes all fees)

Join us for our Intro to Ableton Live workshop. This is a beginner friendly workshop for all those looking to delve into this popular DAW. Learn the basics and familiarize yourself with this powerful electronic music canvas. We will show you how to work with both audio/samples and MIDI-based instruments. By the end of the workshop you will know what you need to start making your own songs!

A computer is not necessary to attend - you're welcome to watch and learn. That said, you are welcome to bring your own laptop to follow along using your own copy of live or the demo version available for free on Ableton's website. We also have a few library computers with an Ableton License, but not enough for everyone in attendance, so these are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We will have information about how to obtain a trial license for Ableton Live Suite, however, we recommend starting on Ableton Live Lite, which is relatively full featured and not time-limited license that we will explain how to obtain for only $5.
