20 Years of Heritage Film Festival
The Heritage Film Festival is a community-based, volunteer-driven DMV event that brings together short films and videos of all subjects and genres to celebrate independent media. The short films are from novice and seasoned filmmakers alike, who come from the US, Canada, Asia, Europe, Africa and beyond.
Festival founder and director, O.Funmilayo Makarah, will be here in person to present a selection of films screened throughout the 20 year history of the Festival. Heritage encourages viewers to bring canned goods which will be donated to people in need.
