Storytelling and Advocacy Workshop with The Story Workers
Stories inspire; Stories activate; Stories multiply! Come develop and refine your storytelling skills in service of movement work. No experience necessary. This workshop will focus on crafting, sharing, and listening to true personal stories!
The Story Workers engage advocates and change-makers to support the use of storytelling as a tool to enhance their work in social movements. The Story Workers’ workshop pedagogy encourages self-reflection, expression, and deep listening in order to foster community and hone concrete narrative skills. The workshop space emphasizes authentic voice, group accountability, and joy as essential elements in crafting stories for personal and community transformation.
Please note: This workshop requires participants to be fully vaxed and must show vaccine card, in accordance with NYC law.
