virtual care lab | at the end of my eyes, you
Friday, August 14, 2020 – 1:00 PM (Pacific Time)
Hosted by PHILTH HAUS
Together, we empower the tear amidst our seismic grief. This month’s gathering will begin with a public livestream meditation and soundbath by PHILTH HAUS, opening a portal to a heightened state of emotionality. Afterwards, join an intimate video chat, resulting in an epistolary, tear-scented correspondence. Let us cry. Together, in three parts.
This event begins a series of monthly gatherings guided by diverse vulnerability companions, each present in multiple facets of grief and emotionality of this moment, and generating an online archive of videos and practices to return to when you need companions in moments of emotionality.
This is the first in an ongoing series of vulnerability practices. We do not expect you to cry, nor prioritize a single experience of emotionality. Instead, we offer a space to sit with your unique experiences and emotions, as we open ourselves to experience our emotions in full.
The livestream is public. Please register in advance to join the private video gathering.
