In its heyday, Times Square was the promised land for freaks, pushers, pimps, deadbeats, and that most depraved caste: cinephiles. Slinking through the streets, these perennially indoor kids theater-hopped from grindhouse to grindhouse, armed with an unquenchable thirst for double, triple, and even quadruple features. Lurid one-sheets wallpapered every surface, touting depravity the likes of which the world has never seen. Across the airwaves, radio advertisements sang a bewitching siren song, beckoning unsuspecting victims to 42nd Street’s movie palace maws. For years on end, ragged film prints made the rounds of these lion's dens (here: The Lyric, The Liberty, The Empire, Cine 42) of The Deuce, trapped in a cell the size of a city block. When their last reels had been spent, their wasted remains would be shipped off to rot in a closet or (worse still) the basement of a collector. Collected here are four of these advertisements, digitized from their original reel-to-reel tapes: DRAGON PRINCESS (1976). KARATE WARRIORS (1976), DEADLY SILVER NINJA (1978), and THE DRAGON'S INFERNAL SHOWDOWN (1980).

Yellow shells / white back case, program repeats on both sides. Cover features original poster art for KARATE WARRIORS with a list of selected 42nd Street screenings from these films on the inside.
