ARTIFICIAL ART ENSEMBLE

The Artificial Art Ensemble has existed since 2009. It was initiated to perform for the release party for the cd "Artificial Artist" by it's founder Ace Farren Ford. Intended originally to be a fluxuating ensemble, the only consistent members are Ace Farren Ford abd his eldest son Mars Pharoah Ford, members of the Ensemble have included Rose Mystery Ford, Emily Anne, Doriandra Smith, ikuko Ainai, the Professor, Ted Byrnes, Rich West, Michael Intriere, Freddie Johnson, Orlando Greenhill, David Orser, Scotty Boyd, Andy Seven, William Cyrus Ford, Dennis Duck & Itsuro Isokawa. Their recorded debut was on the 13 record box set LAFMS Box Box in 2016. They have performed several times over the years, always investigating sounds, moods and audio dreamscapes for possible listening pleasures.

Nine Dog Dick is the collaborative psycho-spazz extreme music supergroup comprised of Matt Chandler (Burmese), Doug Katelus (Solo Organ), Jay Korber (Burmese), and Tom Weeks (TONED). All the music is group-composed. This is mutant punk for connoisseurs of true misery.

Martín Escalante (Lakewood, California 1983) photographer, filmmaker and self taught musician began working on the short films of his brother Amat in 1998. He was casting director and first assistant camera man on SANGRE (FIPRESCI prize, Cannes, 2005). He worked as co-writer, casting and behind the scenes director on Los Bastardos (Cannes, 2008). He then worked with his brother as casting and behind the scenes director for the feature film Heli (best director, Cannes, 2013).

In 2012 he started his label Sploosh Records on which he publishes his music as a soloist and collaborator on saxophone as well as the music of a few others on vinyl, CD and cassette In 2014 he published the second issue of Meche Magazine which contains his still photography work (for adults only). In 2016 he worked as casting director and behind the scenes director on The Untamed (Venice, Silver Lion for best director). On this last film he also supervised the soundtrack, composed by Guro Moe and Lasse

Haydeé Jiménez is a transdisciplinary artist, curator and musician based in the Southern California - Northern Baja California region. - Co-founder of nettnettradio and nettnett space Tijuana, explorer in the realms of artistic and holistic approaches to healing through sound frequencies, vibrations and computer music, composer / producer / performer of electronic music aka AyDD / Hi-D / Hidhawk, drummer in Traviesas y Milagros and promoter of experimental / electronic musicians and artists of the region - Borderlandnoise.

Mike Meanstreetz is a multimedia artist whose non-tradtional craft seeds new genres while reaping the fallen fruit of old. Auditory, visible, tactile, and invisible rarely appear in the singular, most often materializing in a tangle of synaesthesia.
Currently, 25 years since his first solo release, he operates the 1234 Test Kitchen studio in Los Angeles where he has played and recorded with Gasp, Sissy Spacek, Pure Shit, Sobbing Honey and others, and has recently performed and recorded with a number of free improvisational combos including Derek Monypeny, Martín Escalante, Scalpy, Haydeé Jiménez, Rob Magill and Arrington de Dionyso.
