The Spring Equinox is a perfect time to spark your creative energy, plan new chapters, and explore growth opportunities. That's what the Society of Imaginary Friends is planning with our artist mixer at Crossroads Café on March 21st.

The afternoon will be an opportunity to connect with other creatives, hear lightning talks from our impressive line-up of speakers (see bios below), and explore the artwork on display. There will also be opportunity to support local vendors and artisans. If you would like to present your work, please complete our open call for artists and vendors by March 15th. The Society of Imaginary Friends is a social club, a production company, and a creative ecosystem. We host vibrant events in and around New York City with the dual goal of building authentic community and creating platforms for emerging artists. Our largest annual event, Slumberland, is a 200 person weekend festival in upstate New York.

Caroline Harrison is a New York–based artist and illustrator whose drawings explore alienation, anxiety, defiance, and horror through a striking mix of delicate beauty and unsettling grotesquery, alongside a career creating artwork for musicians in the heavy and underground music scenes.

Alana Miller is an artist, mother, producer, and art therapist whose work blends immersive art, camp performance, and humor to create participatory environments of absurdity, ritual, and connection, inviting audiences into shared moments of transformation, play, and presence.

Undisclosed is a group of multidisciplinary creatives based across the US who are passionate about practicing new ways of studying, discovering, and creating spatial solutions that respond to their context. Ever-shifting and evolving, their work has been presented at various locations in the city and at the annual Slumberland Festival.
