Upon its release in April 2010 Darwin Deez’s wonderfully off-kilter debut album, which featured ‘hit’ singles ‘Constellations’ and “Radar Detector’, was met with universal praise from international radio and press. By turns joyous and heart tugging, winsome and wistful, glorious and gorgeous, buoyed aloft by Deez’s ear for a soaring chorus and a catchy tune, not to mention his knack for a killer couplet, Darwin self-proclaimed the album as being ‘happy songs for sad people’.

Now, in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release, Darwin and band are excited to be touring the album once more. The album will be performed in its entirety at each show, in addition to a number of select songs from Darwin’s other releases to-date.

Singularly a brilliant, hilarious, complex, entertaining individual, Darwin Deez writes songs that will make you want to bust out your dancing shoes while also cutting to that raw, emotional nerve. Renowned for the most entertaining of live shows, with added choreographed dance routines, don’t miss your chance to witness a rare insight into everything a pop star should be, and yet so rarely is.

On A Reminder, Stolen Jars’ third LP, feelings never disappear — they refract, bounce back, return as part of a new whole. The same can be said of Stolen Jars, a band Cody Fitzgerald has guided through multiple permutations, from a high-school bedroom project in Montclair, NJ to a fixture of the Brooklyn indie rock scene. A Reminder finds Stolen Jars deepening their arrangements, sharpening their lyrics, and expanding the band’s palette with powerful vocals from Sarah Coffey.

Stolen Jars has been featured on NPR, Stereogum, and even in an Apple ad. The live band – with guitarist and vocalist Cody Fitzgerald, vocalist Sarah Coffey, guitarist Peter Enriquez, keyboardist Grant Meyer, and drummer Matt Marsico – has toured heavily, from the East coast to the Midwest, honing a frenetic set captured by Audiotree.

A detailed meditation on love, loss, and healing, A Reminder reaches deep into memory and returns with striking nuance, in both lyrics and melody. It mourns loss and celebrates refraction — the way people remain even after they’ve faded. Sarah Coffey and Magda Bermudez lend vocal melodies, bringing light out of the darkest corners of each song. Matt Marsico’s virtuoso drumming and Eli Crews’ (Tune-Yards) unique mixing style add depth to the record. Guitarist Elias Spector-Zabusky and drummer Isaiah Hazzard add energy to the touring ensemble. They all come together in lush harmony on A Reminder, marking Stolen Jars as one of America’s premier indie rock acts.
