You are invited to explore the infinite trans-dimensional depths of time and space using the most primal and intuitive tool you own: Your Voice.

Whisper, laugh, scream, sing. Explore however you feel as you sit upon the Yantra. No skill is needed, in fact the Yantra has the most profound effect on people who feel as if they may have no power in their voice at all. The only goal is to discover how deep you can go...

The Yantra is a 10x10’ steel vessel tuned to vibrate to the sounds of your voice embedded within a surround soundsystem. The seat, upon which you’ll rest as you vocalize, is suspended above a pool of water so that you can observe the cymatics in your voice creating a truly immersive and synesthetic experience that is by turns comical, bewildering, and profoundly moving.

The opening night event will include a number of sound shamans to lead you and the rest of the audience through rituals designed to show off the full capabilities of the Yantra. Some will use their highly trained voices, and others will use instruments and electronics. And audience members will also be able to vocalize and play on it. We ask for a donation of $10 or more at the door. This goes to compensate the artists and performers and to support bringing the Yantra to more venues around the country. However, no one will be turned away.

On Saturday you can reserve a time to experience the Yantra on your own. These sessions will be private so that people who are not as comfortable with their voices will feel more empowered to explore the capabilities of their voice. Spots are very limited, so make sure to reserve your spot as soon as you can! (note: two is the max. number of people who can experience the Yantra in one session.)
