Mayan Healing Workshop

I am ecstatic to bring you the Mayan Healing Workshop based on the work of indigenous Maya shamans. I am so grateful and indebted to the indigenous Wisdom Keepers who have trained me and accepted me into the very fabric of their lives and belief systems in Mexico and Guatemala. This is deep and beautiful work, which barely requires super powers, what it really requires is bravery and open heart. Anybody can train their hearts and consequently alter their lives. I want to share this with my New York community because I believe this is the key to healing ourselves, deeply connecting with nature and people around us, erasing any boundaries.

Mayan healing workshop is for both shamanic practitioners/healers to add to your practice and for anybody who is willing to see the powers of an open heart and intuitive healing for themselves and expand from there. If you already have your own practice this will deepen it, if you don’t have your practice this will open certain pathways for you to connect to an unlimited source, see potential for healing and transform energies. We will tap into different ways of working with your personal Maya power symbol and train your feeling, eye and heart to transcend anger, resentment, entities and spirits.

Bring your own yoga mat and water for hydration. There will be some light snacks provided but bring whatever you might need for a 4h event. You’re welcome to bring crystals or any sacred objects you’d like to charge on the altar.

This will be an in-person event only, with 10 maximum number of participants.

ABOUT:

Shaman Woman has been an artist, shaman woman and ritual leader for 15 years (USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Slovenia). She leads lucid dreaming/astral projection workshops and uses shamanic practices for healing and expanding consciousness.

She was trained in Michael Harner's shamanic practices by Dr. Barnaby Rue the founder of Shamandome (longest standing shamanic camp at Burning man) and professor of shamanism and art at NYU. She studied mediation, astral projections and lucid dreaming at the meditation center Las Piramides Del Ka (Guatemala) and with Michael Katz. She spent time in the jungle of Yucatan, Mexico with indigenous shamans studying different shamanic practices and ancient Mayan plant rituals.
