Celebrate pride week with two documentary short screenings of the El Camino del Pan y el Mole film series plus drag performances by Pretty Boi Drag, Ervena Chloe, and special guest, Ivette Donnelly from New Orleans and music by Mariachi Garibaldi and DJ Patternist!

Snacks provided by Taqueria Vargas.

Each of the films showcase the daily lives of two restauranteurs, Jose Vargas of Highlandtown in Baltimore and Ivan Castillo of New Orleans. The films are co-produced by Andy Dahl, @sentir.con.ojos, and Sarah Fouts. Editing by @nutria.productions.

The films are part of the Library of Congress and American Folklife Center’s Homegrown Foodways series (2023).
