The 2019-20 season of Musical Ecologies opens Thursday, September 19th with New York-based composer and audio technologist Anastasia Clarke. The evening will center around a realization of her ongoing work Crushed Matrices, a piece that incorporates crystal singing bowls, the shards of broken crystal singing bowls, and electronics. First performed in 2017, this will be the sixth iteration of Crushed Matrices. The evening will also include a performance of new work for solo electronics and voice. The evening will begin with a conversation hosted by series curator Dan Joseph.
