Speakeasily: a femme-focused open mic is a gathering and celebration of women artists across the city. Women only on the mic, but all are welcome to attend!

Featured this month is Mo Reyes. Mo is a poet, writer, painter and actress with a film releasing this year. She's been writing and performing since childhood at family reunions at her grandparents. She creates, in part, to make sense of the world around her, and to explore the range of human experience. She wishes to share those experiences through her writing and art, to perhaps unlock the emotions some of us keep buried, spinning memories into images as bridges between strangers, reminding us of our humanity and connection to each other.

This will be a big celebration of the 4th season of Speakeasily!

If you are a performer, entry is free, and you have 5 minutes of stage time. All types of performances are welcome.

The evening will close with a featured performance and late-night dancing with DJ Glitch Witch

Entry for the audience is $10. Drinks and food will be available for purchase.
