The Clots is a Brooklyn-based four-piece grunge band with southern rock influences. Held down by a near-telepathic rhythm section honed by years of playing together, The Clots feature Alice in Chains-style rhythm guitar that seamlessly rips into Susan Tedeschi-level solos. Vocals vacillate between the passionate belt of Sleater-Kinney's Carrie Brownstein and softer, heartfelt delivery à la Wednesday. The Clots move fluidly between a range of grunge styles, always rooted in evocative storytelling and a distinctly queer perspective.
