Join Mississippi Records at Ear Inn Up for a celebration of Willem Nyland's Piano Studies 337. Special guest Matt Marble (director, American Museum of Paramusicology, and author of Buddhist Bubblegum, Arthur Russell's spiritual bio) will present on Nyland's music and its larger connection to paramusicological movements.

Then we'll have a shot of armagnac in honor of Gurdjieff, just like Nyland's Group used to do, and play the record loud on the (at least) 8 speakers hidden in the Ear Inn Up. It's an honor to be invited to this space - a legendary studio and creative refuge above one of the city's oldest waterfront bars, home to EAR magazine from 1975-1991, reverberating with innumerable recording sessions, seances, and tales of the sea.

$10-30 sliding scale suggested donation, all proceeds to the American Museum of Paramusicology.
