The Museum of Human Achievement in partnership with Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts are hosting 7 Grant Application Assistance Hangouts for individuals or organizations seeking assistance with applying to the City of Austin Art, Culture, Music, and Entertainment (AACME) Funding Programs. Join us at our workshops where we will offer an overview of this year's application, 1:1 support, and a friendly environment to co-work with other community members on your applications.
The City of Austin Art, Culture, Music, and Entertainment (AACME) Funding Programs provide financial support for emerging cultural and creative individuals or organizations to produce public projects and activities for Austin's diverse communities. This event is organized by the Museum of Human Achievement and is not affiliated with the City of Austin or AACME.
Good for: local small organizations, cultural groups, individual artists, those new to City funding
Elevate – Supports artists, arts organizations, and creative businesses.
Austin Live Music Fund – Invests in local musicians, promoters, and live music venues.
Creative Space Assistance Program (CSAP) – Provides support for commercial creative spaces.
Heritage Preservation Grant – Funds projects that celebrate and preserve Austin’s cultural and historic legacy.
Please bring a laptop or tablet to work on, we will be using Google Drive and Google docs to work on your applications. If you do not have access to a laptop or tablet you can email jay@themusemofhumanachievement.com to reserve a computer (limited supply). Please register 1 RSVP per person so we can get an accurate headcount.

Venue Details
This event will be indoors in an open air warehouse without climate control, please dress according to the weather. The temperature outside is the temperature inside.
The Museum of Human Achievement (MoHA) has aging floors and a gravel parking lot. We recommend closed toe flat shoes, and an outfit that won't snag or get tripped on. We want you to have the best time while remaining safe and gorgeous.

Travel & Parking Information
MoHA is located behind the Canopy Art Complex in a gravel parking lot. Guests can park for free in our lot and find free/paid street parking.
Riding bikes? We are accessible for bikes via several trails that connect to Springdale Road.
Riding the bus? The two closest bus stops to MoHA are at the 7th/Springdale stop and the Springdale/Govalle stop. We recommend using Google maps or Cap Metro Trip planner to confirm your route.
