Live Action Role Play is a combination of improv, theater, physical movement, crafts, and just about any genre of story you can think of! All are welcome to these 2-hour LARPs hosted at Rhizome DC, whether you're completely new to the artform or a seasoned veteran.
On Saturday, April 4 from 1-3 pm we're playtesting 60 Minutes to Curtain by Nico MacDougall (the organizer of these events who thanks you for the opportunity to be a little self-indulgent from time to time), a LARP for 4-10 people about a community theater troupe long on ambition but short on time as they find themselves with just 60 minutes to put together something salvageable in time for curtain up. Indulge your latent theater kid, take on the lead role of your dreams (or nightmares), and navigate the messy interpersonal lives of the Lillian A. Randolph Playhouse players in this dramedy LARP. No theater or LARP experience needed!
