Build a DIY BASTL INSTRUMENTS KASTLE 2 WAVE BARD / FX WIZARD

BASTL INSTRUMENTS KASTLE 2 is the continuation of their super-compact semi-modular KASTLE line of products, with WAY more powerful features and MIDI integration in the V2 line. Normally only sold as a fully-built product, we've been graced with a handful of these rare DIY kits straight from the folks at BASTL and they are in extremely short supply!

In this hands-on workshop participants will build and take home the KASTLE 2 in your choice of firmware, and we will walk you through the process step-by-step. If you are new to DIY we can teach you the skills you need to complete the project such as soldering technique, and facilitators can help with troubleshooting to help get your build working

The hardware is identical but there are two different firmwares you can choose and freely swap which transforms KASTLE 2 from modulation-friendly sampler (WAVE BARD) to creative FX playground (FX WIZARD). Two faceplates are included with the kit, one for each firmware, so you always have the helpful labeling in the correct spots.

About WAVE BARD:
The Kastle 2 WAVE BARD is an experimental, patchable stereo sample player that empowers you to discover new rhythms and riffs through modulation and modularity.
