Come learn the foundations of Electronic music production and performance with Chris Clarke. Chris Clarke aka Lazy love is a London-raised, Chicago-based music producer, DJ, electronic artist, and composer, whose sound sits between minimal/deep techno, and deep house. He has collaborated with electronic, indie, and alt-pop artists, handling everything from arrangement and live instrumentation to drum programming, synthesis, sound design, and mixing. The workshop will cover a bit of the history of electronic music as well as provide participants with an opportunity to get hands on with sequencers, synths, drum machines, effects, and mixing utilizing wavefields array of audio instruments (if you know, you know...). While this event will have an emphasis on analog first principles and xox style sequencing, no prior experience or music knowledge is required (though it certainly wouldn't hurt!).
