About this event:

Punky Reggae Party is a “home away from yard” experience–A night to let your hair down, buss a wine, and cast your worries to the side. Reggae music has always been a sweet escape, balancing bashment and revolution, and Labor Day weekend is the perfect time to bring out that energy. Join us on August 30th! Bring your anticipation, your swaying hips and your laughter. We’ve got everything else covered.

Event Description:

Imagine you are journeying through the rat race, exhausted by Babylon and looking for a moment of rest. You look to your right, and you see a map on the ground with an X on the spot. You follow the steps and soon find yourself walking into an oasis: a Brooklyn backyard full of creatives and life-lovers. The deejay is wheeling up a Big Chune, and the backyard is pumping. You can't help but laugh as the smell of jerk chicken hits you, luring you to the food line.

What to expect:
An amazing lineup of local artists to serenade you with their Caribbean-infused sounds
A DJ to drop the best Reggae, Soca, Calypso, and more
Good Caribbean food (vegan included)
Drinks, joints, and more to enhance your experience

Admission:
General Admission: $10 – Choose this ticket for entry into the Punky Reggae Party Oasis.
Pay It Forward: $20 – Admission + the opportunity to gift someone with a ticket so they can enjoy the Oasis too. Includes a complimentary drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).
