A garden is a place with many inhabitants and visitors, with organisms coexisting in the treetops, the soil, and everywhere in between. How do all these neighbors interact with each other?
In this workshop, we will explore our garden from the perspective of the relationships within: the relationships between humans, plants, animals, and the land itself.
Through reading, discussion, and nature journaling, we’ll work to notice these relationships, consider our own role within the ecosystem, and learn how an ecological view can inform our work as community gardeners.
