Are you new in town? Haven't made the step yet to join an activity on your own? Do you enjoy being outdoor? Just feel like meeting new people? Then this event is for you. It doesn't matter if you're local or from abroad, this is all about socializing with likeminded internationals and making new connections while enjoying a walk together to Kloster Andechs.

Most of the participants are first-timers who come alone, so there will be plenty of people for you to meet. You will be welcomed by Lydia and local Sebastian who are also there to introduce you to others.

Kloster Andechs

Kloster Andechs is a picturesque and historic monastery located just outside of Munich. This popular pilgrim destination has been brewing beer since 1455 and offers visitors not only a fascinating look at the life of monks and stunning architecture but also an opportunity to taste some of the finest traditional beer and enjoy the local Bavarian cuisine. We'll end our stroll at the brewpub of this monastery.

Time planning

• 11:00: Gather at S-Bahn station Herrsching. Meeting point is at the clock in front of the station with Kloster Andechs displayed on it.
• 11:10: Leave together for a walk of about 50 minutes to Kloster Andechs (everyone who is late will have to find their own way). The first part of this small and easy level hike winds through the town before entering a forest which opens up to a grassy meadow. The last part is a narrow staircase up to the Abbey.
• 12:00: Arrival at Kloster Andechs. Here we will have a table reserved for our group at the self-serviced Braustübl. Card payments are accepted.
• 13:00: End of program. Participants are welcome to continue to stay or find their way home at their own convenience. There is also a bus going back to Herrsching.
