With bio queen realness, high camp, and good-old-fashioned physical comedy, West is on full display through the lens of the true comedienne that she is. In a time where people's rights are moving backward, this show highlights the queen of the comeback, who despite censorship (Hollywood’s Hays code was invented for her), blacklists and ageism, championed visibility for women, gay men, black performers, and most of all, herself. Expect controlled hysterical chaos.
