First Thursdays are back in the Bromo Arts District and
Mount Vernon with an impromptu, coordinated event from 5-8pm on May 4th!

First Thursday was a staple of the Mt Vernon art circuit for many years. Galleries participating in this evening time event include Current Space, Catalyst Contemporary, C. Grimaldis Gallery, Gallery Blue Door, Ink Spot Press, The Black Genius Art Show, Cotyledon Arts, and Gallery 410. The Walters Art Museum is also open
regularly until 8PM on Thursdays.

At Current Space, see "Crip Algebra," an exhibition of works by Alx Velozo, RA Walden, and Saar Shemesh.

Check each gallery’s website for current shows, events and
how to access their spaces. Galleries participating are all less than a square mile from each other and are under a twenty minute stroll from one end to the other.

The Current Space Garden Bar will be open from 5-11pm this evening. At 8pm stick around for Office Hours, a free night of DJ sets from JaySwann and Tromac!
