ZĀM is the guitar-bass-drums trio of Anthony Pirog, Andrew Colwell, and Dan Sharnoff.
ZĀM’s second full length album arriving in August 2025 on Ramble Records features 13 distinct pieces of music; evolved but familiar juxtapositions, at times focused, hypnotic circadian grooves staring down searing, ferocious percolations of feedback, skronk and sludge. There are smoke veiled interiors, throbbing halations and jagged icy cliffs here. Encounter electric swirling, molten chambers and iridescent eddies of meditation. There are glimpses of elegance and whiffs of panic and nausea. ZĀM stretches and contorts its sonic fabrics, a mosaic arcade of colors and textures, a cascade of undulating inner visions.

Red Sunflower
Red Sunflower is a DC-based instrumental trio formed by brothers Kiyan Saifi (guitar) and Teymour Saifi (bass), with Nick Murphy on drums. The band explores noise, textural improvisation, and experimental rock. Drawing on the energy of punk and free music, Red Sunflower favors intensity and unpredictability over convention.
