The Atmospheric Music Alliance presents “slowroom,” an hour of slow music discourse, performance, and sharing every third Friday at 27 Cafe.

In this edition of slowroom, we’ll begin with a 20–30 minute drone orchestra featuring five performers playing the brand new instrument from Whimsical Raps, Atrium. The remainder of the hour will be dedicated to exploring Atrium together, with facilitation from Dani Derks (Materials Director @ Whimsical Raps). This portion will be lightly structured, roughly 10% workshop and 90% open sonic exploration, with space to ask questions as they arise.
