Born in Guayaquil Ecuador, Joel Moscoso aka Extranjero came to the tri-state area at the age of 15 - immersing himself in the cultural, artistic and music eclecticism that characterizes New York and its surroundings. His original Latin music is a reflection of both worlds - a rich compilation of popular sounds, mixed with the sensuality of Bossa Nova, the romanticism of Bachata, Flamenco, Rumba, Cumbia and the power of Rock - among others.
