Ableton Racks are the powerful DAW tool in focus in this intermediate workshop.

We will deep dive into how Ableton's Rack system works by exploring their Instrument Rack, Effect Rack, MIDI Effect Racks, and Drum Rack devices. Then we'll go over how you can design your own racks from scratch as well as how to inject creative alterations to the rack devices you already use!

A computer is not necessary to attend - you're welcome to watch and learn. That said, you are welcome to bring your own laptop to follow along using your own copy of live or the demo version available for free on Ableton's website. We also have a few library computers but not enough for everyone in attendance, so these are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We will have information about how to obtain extended trial licenses as well as 5$ licenses of Ableton live lite, which is relatively full featured and not time-limited like the free trial license.
