On the last week of school, Alex and Ethan pretend to be trans women to get into the girl’s lockers. It’s all a joke until Ethan realizes: she really is trans. Now Alex and Ethan must reckon with their changing friendship and the messy process of coming out.

An MdFF staple, this year's Q+ Shorts program is a selection of narrative LGBTQ+ stories that explore acceptance, queer longing, and queer joy.

After Party
Following Q+ Shorts, grab a drink at the garden bar and join the dance party for LGBTQIA+ folks and allies with tunes by Baltimore’s own DJ Girlypop Princess. The night will feature drag performances by the newly crowned Mx. Parkway, Fernette Branca and Mx. Cult Classic, Nikki Woodles!
