ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
This program is a community based introduction to CDJ workshop led by Building Beats alumni DJ Yanka and DJ O-well. Their goal is to create an open, supportive space where students can develop their own sound and express themselves freely through music.

ABOUT THE TEACHING ARTIST:
Ondré Wellington, aka DJ O-Well, is a DJ repping New Jersey, spinning across the Tri-State for the past two and a half years. In this workshop, he and Bianca will break down the basics of CDJs, mixing, and give students room to play and explore on the decks. The goal is to help everyone find their own sound and feel confident expressing themselves through music.
Bianca Perez, also known as DJ Yanka, is a multi-faceted artist, facilitator, and ukulele lover from The Bronx. From releasing her first single “Warm Embrace” in 2021 to performing at iconic venues like Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden, she continues to explore and expand her sound. Whether through music, storytelling, or genre-blending DJ sets, Bianca brings her full self to every space, showing there’s no one way to express who you are.
