Two Thangs graduated from his college art program in 2002 and jumped headfirst into the art world while still working a day job as a paralegal to pay the bills. This lasted for 15 years until he was able to apply his creative thinking not only to what he made, but how he thought about business, marketing and how he was making his art. After 5 years as a full time artist, he has a wealth of knowledge on how anyone can forge a career outside of the gallery system and make your own work pay the bills. The workshop will be broken into three parts where he talks about his journey to get here, the ways anyone can change their way of thinking to maximize their potential and finally, just get into the nuts and bolts of the everyday life and what you'll be dealing with as a full time creative (how to price things, how to get the most out of publicity, etc.).
