Bobbito García has made an undeniable mark on global popular culture: As one-half of the “Stretch and Bobbito” radio show, Bob introduced the world to then-unknown superstars like Jay-Z, NaS, Wu Tang, Eminem, Big L, Wyclef Jean, and Lauryn Hill. In 1998, the Source Magazine voted Stretch and Bobbito as “The Best Hip Hop Radio Show of All Time,“ and in 2023, they were inducted into the NAB Radio Hall of Fame. An NYC-native and world-renowned DJ, Bob has spun world, soul and jazz music at legendary venues like Lincoln Center, Central Park SummerStage, and the Smithsonian in D.C.
