Marcus Rezaks' Shred is Dead w/Allen Aucoin (The Disco Biscuits)
Progressive high- octane instrumental and vocal performances of The Grateful Dead & Jerry Garcia Band, harvesting a pure blend of inspirational jams and fierce rock n roll. Led by guitarist Marcus Rezak with an all-star group of musicians from across the musical universe. After recently opening for Melvin Seals and JGB in Hermosa Beach, CA, Pink Talking Fish at the Park West in Chicago, IL, sold out shows in Denver, Co at The Ripple, Winston’s in Ocean Beach, CA and a blistering performance at Skull & Roses Festival in Ventura, CA, the band has been on fire performing all across the U.S. for a memorable nights of love, energy, and high energy shredding jams!

While Rezak is known for his work in Digital Tape Machine, Shred is Dead and Katharsis, his new record Gateway to the Galaxy is his first studio effort featuring his own original compositions. A Chicago-based recording artist, touring musician, and session guitarist, Rezak is best known for his collaborations with members of Umphrey’s McGee, The Motet, Dopapod, RAQ, Primus, Circles Around The Sun, and more.

After the great Bill Evans* listened to Rezak’s record Gateway To The Galaxy, he proclaimed "Marcus Rezak is one of the most compelling and gifted guitarist / composers to come along in a long time. He is one of the new generation of musicians who I feel will be one of the pioneers in innovative music. He has the ability to connect the dots and take it to the next level. His playing reminds me of a cross between John McLaughlin, Jimi Hendrix and Jake Cinninger!! Marcus Rezak is here to stay.”

The story of Marcus Rezak is not one for those who don’t believe in fated occurrences or natural affinity. It is not for those who don’t believe that passion should forcefully direct the flow of one’s life. It is, however, a tale for seekers ready to leave misgivings at the door and allow music’s sway to settle in their minds like a rich fog. In music, we find truth. Within music’s truth, we find the sounds of Marcus Rezak.

TULA
Tula is a five piece progressive funk rock band consisting of two guitars, drums, bass and a saxophone. Tula was first formed in Chicago by frontman Brian Duggan as the Brian Duggan Project in 2008. After touring and performing in the Midwest for a few years, Duggan re-rooted the band to Denver and formed a permanent cast of musicians that makes up present day Tula. The group's organic and unique style brings a refreshing diverse sound to the traditional jam band setup. Their live shows bring even the most reserved attendees to the dance floor as they infuse a variety of genres together from blues to rock to reggae and more. The Denver band spent the winter working on their first full-length album, Follow the Beast Inside, recorded at Scanhope Sound in Colorado with mastermind producer Joshua Fairman. Tula has an exciting year ahead of them with an album release, music video releases, tour dates and an ever expanding diverse geographical fan base. Check out what the media has deemed as "Colorado Funk with Chicago roots" and experience what this band is all about.
