Milk Press Virtual Workshop: Writing Poems That Speak to the Dead
Part of the weekly Milk Press Virtual Workshop series, produced by the Poetry Society of New York.

Attendees of this workshop will briefly trade their pens for planchettes. Through a series of collaborative exercises, including a virtual “seance”, we will channel the voices of those who have since left our earthly realm. Using what we have learned, poets will generate pieces rich with language and images from the beyond.
It is recommended that attendees have a photo of any deceased person (familiar to them or otherwise) handy for this workshop.
