A fundraiser for Lisa Majorino Martino, Scranton dialysis technician, is underway as she receives treatment for life-threatening lung cancer.

Having been diagnosed with stage 3A cancer of the lung, Lisa underwent surgery to remove part of her lung and is now undergoing intense chemotherapy that will be followed by immunotherapy for at least 12 months.

Lisa is unable to work, and the bills are mounting quickly; she will need more help as she continues her treatment. After a lifetime of caring for others, Lisa now fears losing her home while undergoing this intense treatment period.

Lisa has dedicated 35 years of her life to caring for dialysis patients, and now she needs the community's help. Please help spread the word to the Scranton community to assist someone who has given nothing but love to the world.

A fundraiser will be held at The Fireside Martini Grill, 411 Chestnut Street, Dunmore, PA on Sunday, October 16 from 1PM-5PM. $20 donation at the door to support Lisa's ongoing treatments.
